The firm attorneys have represented clients such as the Carnegie Deli, Studio 54, Palladium, Stringfellows, Sound Factory, Twilo and Caliente Cab Co. The firm obtained the liquor license for the world-famous nightclub Twilo after two denials by the NYS Liquor Authority and kept the business open in the face of five years of efforts by the Office of the Mayor to close it. Sullivan Gardner attorneys obtained the approval of what was at the time the largest sidewalk café in the City of New York. The firm has managed all of the transactions associated with the hospitality business, ranging from asset purchases to management deals to international brand licensing. The newly invigorated enforcement posture of both the State and City of New York has increased the firm’s activity in this field.
