Business Integrity Commission Monitorship Authority

Sullivan Gardner has challenged the ability of the New York City Business Integrity Commission to deny an application because the applicant refused to accede to a demand for a monitorship as a condition of the approval. In an appeal filed before the Commission, the firm has also noted that the law significantly limits the instances in which a monitorship can be demanded.
